LEWISTON – Samson F. LePage, 90, a former Lewiston resident, and more recently a resident of Thornton Hall in Brunswick died Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Auburn on March 17, 1915, the son of Ernest and Cora (Samson) LePage and attended local schools.

On June 3, 1938, he married the former Marjorie Goulette to whom he was a loving and devoted husband. They enjoyed traveling and spent many summers at Brandy Pond in Naples. Mrs. LePage died in 2000.

Together with his son, Richard “Dick” LePage, he owned and operated FHP Engine Service until his retirement in 1985.

He is survived by two grandchildren, Michelle and her husband, Tomasz Mikolajczyk, of Burlington, Vt., and Thomas LePage and his wife, Abigail, of Jaffery, N.H.; and a daughter-in-law, Dodie LePage of Lewiston.

Besides his wife, Marjorie, he was predeceased by a son Richard, and by a brother, Robert LePage.
