LEWISTON – Jean M. Claveau has been promoted to assistant vice president at Bangor Savings Bank. He was commercial banking officer at the Lewiston office.

Before joining the bank in 2004, he was the economic development coordinator for Penquis C.A.P., and a loan and investment officer with Coastal Enterprises Inc.

Claveau holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Universite Laval in Quebec and a master’s degree in business administration from Thomas College in Waterville.

He lives in Gardiner with his wife, Wendy, and their daughter, Kate.
