SOUTH PARIS – Sam Bryan and Roberta McAllister of South Paris were united in marriage on Aug. 20. The ceremony was held at the Deering Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter Webb officiating.

Attendants for the bride were her daughters, Davina and Janelle Meader of South Paris. Best man was Ray White of Oxford, and ushers were James Bryan of Brownfield, son of the bridegroom, and Carl Zammuto of South Paris.

The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in South Paris. Debbie Irish, cousin of the bride, and Claire Gendron, friend, helped with the preparation of the food, decorating and setting up. Scott Richards, a friend of the family, was photographer.

The bridegroom is employed at Ed Thayer Inc. in Oxford, and the bride is employed at Second Street Family Practice in New Auburn.

The honeymoon was a moose hunting trip at the end of September to District 11, where the bridegroom shot his first moose ever, an 800 pound bull moose.

A second honeymoon will be held in December at Merrill Hill Farm Inn in North Conway, N.H., which was a gift for the couple.
