ORONO (AP) – Ernest Turner led four players in double figures with 13 points Monday as Maine used a 25-4 run to start the second half and routed Morgan State 74-38.

Philippe Tchekane Bofia added 10 points and 13 rebounds, Chris Bruff added 10 points and Jon Sheets hit four three-pointers for 12 points for Maine (2-5).

Maine made 10-21 3-pointers as a team.

Despite only committing four first-half turnovers, Maine led only 31-24 at halftime, but Morgan State (0-7) managed only 14 points the entire second half.

Maine held a 54-35 rebounding edge, including 19 on the offensive glass.
