JAY – A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth L’Italien was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, preceded by prayers at Finley Funeral Home in Livermore Falls. The Rev. Roger Chabot, the Rev. Levesque of Colebrook, N.H., and Brother Maurice Violette, who also spoke at the service, officiated.

Gifts were taken to the altar by Laura and Tom Aube. The Resurrection Choir, accompanied by Therese Therrien, sang “Ave Maria,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Prayer of St. Francis” and “J’Irai La Voir Un Jour.”

The pallbearers were Robert Merrill, William Presby, Shawn Foss, Mathew L’Italien and Alfred Judd. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
