LEWISTON – Sound Limbs, a custom orthotics and prosthetics practice in Lewiston, has announced that Benjamin Wilmot, orthotist, has recently joined its professional staff.

Wilmot plans to specialize in diabetic foot care, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, pediatrics, post CVA/stroke, cranial remolding helmets and using computers in fabricating orthoses. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver and received his certification in orthotics at the Newington Certificate Program through the University of Connecticut. Wilmot completed an internship at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and his residency at a private practice in Massachusetts.

Originally from Portland, Wilmot lives with his wife, Amy, in Monmouth.
