Lewiston – A pro-Wal-Mart film designed to counteract anti-Wal-Mart publicity will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at Bates College.

The Bates College Republicans will show “Why Wal-Mart Works and Why That Drives Some People Crazy” in the Filene Room in Pettigrew Hall (Room 301). All are welcome.

The Bates New World Coalition has shown “The High Cost of Low Price,” an anti-Wal-Mart documentary. The Bates College Republicans intend to present the other side of the Wal-Mart story.
