LEWISTON – Cathy F. Day, 47, of Winter Street in Auburn, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 6, at Central Maine Medical Center with her family at her side. She will be spending Christmas with the Lord this year.

She was born in Norway on Aug. 12, 1958, a daughter of Norman and Fay (Tripp) Day. She was educated in Norway schools and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1976.

She worked in the insurance field for the last several years and was most recently a claims service assistant for Patrons Oxford Insurance.

Among her favorite enjoyments were good times with family as she was extremely loving of her niece, nephew and of her fiance’s son, and spending time at the ocean and trips to Boothbay Harbor. To her fiance, Kevin, she was not only his fiancee, but also his inner strength and best friend. She will be sadly missed.

She leaves her mother, Fay Day; a sister, Donna Paul and husband, Richard; a brother, David Day; a niece, Danielle Paul; a nephew, Jonathan Paul; her fiance, Kevin Field, and his son, Jason, all of Auburn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Norman Day, in December 1978.
