FITCHBURG, Mass. – Gladys Mae Kitchel Mahar, 92, of Fitchburg, Mass., beloved wife of the late William A. Mahar, died on Dec. 6, 2005, in Fitchburg, Mass.
Survivors include daughter, Karol Berzins of Fitchburg, Mass.; sons, David Mahar and wife, Alfreda, of Lawrence, Mass., Charles Mahar and wife, Marybeth, of Chichester, N.H., and Walter Mahar and wife, Patricia, of Oxford and Holly Hill, Fla. She was the loving Nana to John, Bill and Paul Berzins, and Scott and Sallyann Mahar, all of Massachusetts, Michael and Karen Mahar of New Hampshire, Jaclyn Scott of Florida, Lisa Bradley of Virginia and Charlene Brown of Oxford. She was the proud great-grandmother of Katie Stanley of Buckfield, Matthew Mahar of Oxford and Amanda Greenleaf of Minnesota; and great-great-grandmother of Connor Stanley of Buckfield.
She will be sadly missed by all. At least she will be able to square dance once again with her lifelong partner, Bill.
