GORHAM – Ashley Marble drained 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the University of Southern Maine to a 63-24 romp over Colby in women’s basketball action Wednesday.
Megan Myles chipped in for the undefeated Huskies (6-0) with 13 points, while Lauren Samuelson added 10. Southern Maine held a commanding 31-14 advantage at the break.
Kate Emery led the Mules (4-2) with nine points, while Regina Wohl added seven.

USM 77, Colby 68
GORHAM – Josh Daniels netted 23 points as one of four players to reach double digits as the University of Southern Maine rolled past Colby 77-68 in men’s basketball action Wednesday.
Foster Oakley chipped in for the Huskies (3-3) with 15 points, while Andy Frost tallied 14 and Bill Hardwick added 10. Southern Maine held a slim five-point lead at the break, then outpaced its opponent 39-35 in the second half to pull out the victory.
Drew Cohen led the Mules (3-4) with a game-high 26 points, while Mark Gaudet chipped in with 17 and Nick Farrell added 12.
