MONMOUTH – Roland R. Reny Jr., 45, of 358 Main St., Monmouth, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 6, at his home.

He was born in Hartford, Conn., on Sept. 29, 1960, the son of Roland R. Sr., and Rita L. (LePage) Reny, and had been a resident of this community for most of his life. He attended local schools and Lewiston High School. He was a self-employed contractor.

He very much enjoyed his daughter, Ashley, and his son, Dylan. He was proud of the fact that his daughter was born on his birthday and for his son making the varsity basketball team at Monmouth Academy.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, the former Kim Goyette, whom he married on July 26, 1986, of Monmouth; his parents of Sabattus; one daughter, Ashley Reny of Monmouth; one son, Dylan Reny of Monmouth; four sisters, Madeleine Miller and her husband, Clint, of Spring City, Tenn., Jeanne D’arc Giroux and her husband, Marcel, of Lewiston, Theresa Carr and her husband, Frank, of Lewiston, and Mary Ann Hamel and her husband, Brent, of Lewiston; three brothers, Anthony Reny and his wife, Donna, of Greene, William Reny and his wife, Holly, of Canton, and James Reny and his wife, Angela, of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
