BRIDGTON – Bernice H. Peaco, 86, of Bridgton died Friday, Dec. 9, at the Bridgton Health Care Facility.
She was born in South Paris on Feb. 11, 1919, the daughter of Robert and Ida Bonney Hemingway. She was a graduate of Paris High School.
She married Severino Ascani, her first husband, who predeceased her. She later married Dean Peaco who passed away in 2001.
Mrs. Peaco was a hairdresser most of her life.
She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed cooking, and growing flowers.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Ridlon of Bridgton; two grandsons, Peter Ridlon of Portland, and Patrick and his wife, Joanne Ridlon, of Casco; two great-granddaughters, Corban and Kendyl Ridlon; a sister, Carolyn Haverninen of South Paris; and a niece, Nancy Robinson of South Paris.
