FARMINGTON – The wedding of Samantha Caryll DePoy and Kyle Warren was held at 4 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the home of the couple. The wedding ceremony, written by the couple, was performed in the gardens at their home, with Andrew Robinson, Franklin County District Attorney, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth DePoy of Newburgh and Donald DePoy of Belfast. The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Tina Warren of Rangeley.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Mary Young, best friend, was matron of honor and Georgia Hilton, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Jonathan Adkins, friend, served as best man and ushers were Troy Young, friend and husband of the matron of honor, and Kelsey Orestis, friend and girlfriend of the best man. Alder, the couple’s German Wire-haired Pointer, was ring bearer.

A Tuscan feast followed the ceremony at the Homestead Restaurant in Farmington. The couple honeymooned in Southern France, spending time eating their way through the Provence region and relaxing in Cannes.

The bride plans to graduate in May from the University of Maine at Farmington. She is a former newspaper writer and editor and is currently a writer and photographer in public relations at Nancy Marshall Communications in Augusta.

The bridegroom is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., and is currently working at Main-Land Development Consultants in Livermore Falls. He is also a member of the Farmington Planning Board.
