MEXICO – Funeral services for Joan Cassidy Rumley of Mexico were conducted Saturday at the Mexico Congregational Church, Main Street, Mexico, with the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiating.

Organist was Beverly Cantin. Music selections were “For the Beauty of the Earth” and “Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound.” Special music included “In The Garden,” sung by the church choir, and “Crossing the Bar,” sung by the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham with her husband, John.

Attending the services were many members of the Red Hat Society.

Interment will be in the spring at the Farrington-Morton Cemetery, Mexico.

A reception followed the services at the Mexico Congregational Church dining room.

Arrangements were under the care of Meader & Son Funeral Home.
