LEWISTON – The wedding of Kimberly Ann Matthews and Patrick Pacios Blais was held at 6 p.m. on July 1 at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. The Rev. Andrew Dubois officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Blais is the daughter of Nancy Matthews of Harpswell and Clayton and Debra Matthews Jr. of Turner. Mr. Blais is the son of Michael and Joanne Blais of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white A-line gown and carried a bouquet of daisies with pale pink and lime green roses.

Eileen Callen was maid of honor for her friend and bridesmaids were Jessica Hanscombe, sister of the bridegroom, Kayla Downs, fiancee of the bride’s brother, and Stephanie Matthews, cousin of the bride.

Best friend of the bridegroom, David Clifford, served as best man and ushers were Kevin Hanscombe, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Clayton Matthews, III, brother of the bride, and Justin Hanscombe, nephew of the bridegroom. Camden Hanscombe, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at Lost Valley Lodge in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2003 graduate of Babson College with a bachelor’s degree in business management and focus in entrepreneurship. She is currently employed at Auburn Manufacturing.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in secondary social sciences. He is currently a teacher at Lewiston High School.
