AUBURN – Yvonne Jalbert, 82, of 20 Great Falls Plaza, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 27, 1923, the daughter of Joseph V. and Lucienne Fournier Gauthier. She was educated in local schools and was married April 18, 1953, to Rene Jalbert.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed in local mills and shoe shops. She was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by her husband of Auburn; a sister-in-law, Laurette Gauthier of Lewiston; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father and mother; stepmother, Yvonne Gauthier; a sister, Jeannette Haskells; and two brothers, Roland and Alcide Gauthier.
