AUBURN – Walter W. Baldwin, 79, died peacefully at Clover Manor Wednesday evening, Dec. 14, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Vermont on Jan. 17, 1927, the son of Frank Westley II and Jennie Ross. He was educated in schools in Shaftsbury, Vt.

He married Arlene Auger in June 1959. He was employed at Howard Johnson until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene; two sons, Bruce and Brian Baldwin of Auburn; one daughter, Chris Baldwin of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
