FARMINGTON – This week’s feature creature is Berry, a big man with a big heart. He came to the shelter as a stray and at first glance the staff fell right in love with him.
He would be wonderful in any type of home, whether quite or rambunctious. He has a bit of personality, seeming to feel that if he graces anyone with his presence, that should be enough.
Even though he is a manly cat, he does put up with anything. Children could dress him up in clothing and carry him around like a little baby. He is very secure in his masculinity.
Berry is ready for the holidays and is hoping to spend it with a new family.
The Christmas carnival was a success, and Santa met all kinds of good boys and girls, whether two legged or four.
Paintbrush, who had been at the shelter since April of 2004, got her holiday wish and went to a good family.
