AUBURN – Auburn nipped Rockport 3-2 in Pee Wee Division action. Joe Greco, Brady Lare and Elijah Lamothe all lit the lamp for Auburn. Credited with assists were Adam Healy, Nick Labbe and Dan Poisson. Shane Cloutier was the winning goalie. Sam Stone and Tyler Holloman scored for Rockport, with Robbie Swan and Owen Henry assisting. Ryan Johnstone was between the pipes.

Lady Devils split two

LEWISTON – The Lewiston High School Lady Blue Devils have split their first two hockey games of the season. The Lady Devils nipped Skowhegan 3-2 in a season opener. Katie Cobb’s unassisted goal was the game-winner. Kelly Carver scored in the first period, assisted by Stephanie Belanger. Stephayne Doucette notched a goal in the middle frame, with Cobb and Kelsey Rodrigue drawing assists.

The Winslow Lady Raiders edged Lewiston 2-1 as Michelle Rancourt tallied the lone LHS goal. Goalie Katie Avery was credited with over 40 stops.

St. Dom’s Girls win

LEWISTON – Bri Landry notched a hat trick and and Erica Vanderwerf added 2 goals as the St. Dom’s girls beat Cape Elizabeth 9-2 Saturday at the Colisee.

Scoring a goal each were Tessa Mathews, Brittney Michaud, Alyssa Plourde and Eameo Larrivee.

Credited with assists were Kaylee Tyburski, Vanderwerf (2), Plourde, Michaud (2), Avery Olbrych (2), Mathews, and Landry.

Skye McIvins and Ashley Robinson scored for the Capers.
