AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA Teen Center will host several special events during December, including a Movie Night with free popcorn on Thursday, Dec. 22, a pool tournament, foosball tournament, 2 on 2 basketball tournament, air-hockey tournament, ping-pong tournament, video game tournaments (all tournaments during Christmas break) and an arts and crafts day.

Every winner will be rewarded a prize. Those interested should sign up for the special events at the center, which will have extended Christmas break hours of noon to 7 p.m.

The center is well supervised and free for ages 12 to 16. It has a game room, including pool, foosball, air-hockey and ping-pong. There are also board games, a big-screen TV, a lounge area, a 16-speaker sound system, a computer station and a concession area that is open daily.

In addition, the center has weekly special activities of open gym from 3 to 4 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday and swimming. It also offers a teen mentoring program, Leader’s Club, Activity Club and a U-Start Club.
