LEWISTON – Northeast Bank announces that Marilyn H. Thomas of Portland has joined the company as vice president and director of managed assets.

She will be responsible for the oversight of Loan Review, Loan Workouts and Collections. Thomas joins the newly formed Risk Management Division headed up by the bank’s Chief Risk Officer, Pender J. Lazenby.

Thomas has more than 17 years of experience in banking, having worked in various Asset Management functions for several banks including Casco Northern Bank and most recently Key Bank.

Previous responsibilities include Dealer Division Collections Oversight, Asset Recovery, Special Claims and Credit Analysis. Her previous position was as vice president and senior loan account manager, administering a portfolio of commercial loans in the Northeast and Great Lakes Region for Key Bank located in Portland.

Thomas is a graduate of Westbrook College with a degree in business administration and lives in Portland with her partner and family.
