PORTLAND – Ryan Smith has been promoted to vice president of business banking at Maine Bank & Trust. Smith, a commercial loan officer, joined the bank in 2002 and has 10 years of banking and finance experience.

He is involved with the Auburn/Lewiston Rotary Breakfast Club, the Central Maine Medical Center Associates, and is a member of the Board of Assessment Review for the city of Auburn. He is a recent graduate of the Androscoggin Leadership Development Institute.

He is a resident of Auburn.
