RUMFORD – Funeral services for Bailey S. “Bill” Kierstead were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Tyner officiating. Music selection was “From a Jack to a King” by Ned Miller. Words of remembrance were given by members of the family and friends.

Honor guard from the Mexico Fire Department and delegations from area fire departments included Chief Gary Wentzell, Richie Jones, Deputy Chief Jack Arsenault, Raymond Broomhall, Deputy Chief Allen Chartier, Marc Mayo, Driver Michael Chartier, Lt. Albert Bradley Sr., Capt. James McDonald, Capt. Raymond Carver, Capt. David McDonald, Driver Edward Carey, Lt. Kenneth Dixon, chief of Andover and Duayne Jodrey. A reception followed at the Mexico Town Hall meeting room.

Interment in the spring will be at 11 a.m. on March 22, at the Brooklawn Cemetery, Portland.
