LIVERMORE – The Livermore and Livermore Falls Republican Town Committees will hold a joint meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 3, in the Function Room at LakeShore, Route 4.

The business meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., the public is invited to hear gubernatorial candidate Peter Mills discuss his decision to run in the election and his 12-step vision for the future of Maine.

Mills is a Maine native who graduated from Maine Law School and has spent 32 years resolving legal problems. He has spent the last 10 years in the Maine Legislature and has served as a Republican lead on Tax, Labor, Judiciary and Appropriations committees. He is an advocate for sensible change in tax and school funding systems. Mills has worked with both parties to pass reforms in health care and education.
