AUGUSTA – The Concerts at Jewett series will present “By Rodgers! – A Celebration of Three Musical Generations” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, in Jewett Hall Auditorium at the University of Maine. Snow date is Sunday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m.
The music of Richard Rodgers, whose musicals include “Oklahoma,” “Carousel,” “The King and I,” and “The Sound of Music,” will be performed along with music from his daughter Mary (“Once Upon a Mattress”) and grandson, Adam Guettel, whose musical, “The Light In the Piazza,” won a 2005 Tony Award.
“By Rodgers!” will also be performed at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28 and 29, in Corthell Concert Hall on the USM Gorham campus.
