LEWISTON – Meg Coffin scored 17 points as Bates College rolled to an 81-59 victory over Simmons College in women’s basketball on Thursday night.
Val Beckwith joined Coffin in double-figure scoring with 12 points, along with 10 each from Matia Kostakis and Jacki Powers.
Jen Caron scored a game-high 23 points for the Sharks, while teammate Kristen Lucek contributed 11.
Bates improves to 8-5 on the season, while Simmons falls to 4-7.
