AUBURN – Carrie Haskell, 32, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Jan. 5, with her beloved husband, who was also her best friend, by her side. She had faithfully trusted her Lord through a four-year battle with cancer.

She was born in Lewiston, on Aug. 23, 1973, to Richard and Marie Garnett. She graduated from Lisbon Falls Christian Academy in 1991. She married in 1992, and devoted her life as wife to her husband Fred, and mother to her two precious children, Cassidy, 8, and Kevin, 5.

She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed boating, camping, socializing, and totally celebrated life. Her great passion was singing for her Lord as part of a worship team at East Auburn Baptist Church. She brought joy and the love of Jesus to everyone she touched.

Her smile, laugh, and love will be missed by so many, yet we rejoice that she is now celebrating with the Lord she loved and served, and we look forward to the day we will praise Jesus together with her in Heaven!

She is survived by her husband Fred and children, Cassidy and Kevin Haskell, of Auburn; her parents, Richard and Marie Garnett, of Lisbon Falls; her mother-in-law, Charlotte Haskell, of Auburn; her three brothers, Gregory, Jeff and Andrew Garnett; her three sisters, Vicki Cooper, Nancy Shank and Kim Bokash; and many other extended family and friends.
