AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Jill M. Caron of Fort Kent and Phillip A. Platt of Auburn.
Miss Caron is the daughter of Norman and Rachelle Caron of Fort Kent. She is a 2000 graduate of Fort Kent High School and a 2002 graduate of Northern Maine Technical College at Presque Isle. She is currently employed as an electrician at Cianbro Corporation.
Mr. Platt is the son of Lawrence and Cynthia Holbrook of Auburn and Raymond O. Platt of Burbank, Calif. He is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. He is currently employed with the state of Maine Controller’s Office as a staff accountant.
The wedding will take place at Holy Family Church on Oct. 7.
