In response to Ted Trebilcock’s letter Dec. 28, I have only one word to describe such sentiment: obnoxious.

Trebilcock should be embarrassed for himself. Furthermore, the Sun Journal should be embarrassed for providing a forum for such mean-spirited and spiteful machinations.

One of the Democrats Trebilcock speaks of could be my elderly mother. Is he really suggesting that, at age 73, on a fixed income and as a Democrat, she should expire from exposure to the cold, rather than find herself worthy of his generosity?

Now that such obnoxious thoughts are out in the open, perhaps Trebilcock may find, firsthand, what the true spirit of generosity may be. It’s quite possible he’ll find himself out in the cold faster than the Democrats he so carelessly excoriates.
