This is in response to Alan Elze’s letter, printed Jan. 3.

If not for the snowplow drivers, most people would not be able to get to their place of work or to appointments. The drivers are doing their jobs the way they were taught.

Elze complained about how the sidewalk plows push snow onto the streets, and the street plows push the snow back. I wonder where he expects the drivers to push the snow?

If Elze can come up with a better idea, he should do so.
