RUMFORD – Funeral services for Mrs. Phillips were held Monday at the Rumford First Baptist Church. The Rev. Bruce Tyner officiated. The pianist was Jean Hersey. The song “Sailing” was sung by her son, Douglas Phillips. Her granddaughter, Danielle MacCartney sang “Thank You,” “Pass it On,” and “I Can Only Imagine.” The homily was given by the Rev. Bruce Tyner and words of remembrance were led by her nephew, the Rev. Andrew Grannell. Pallbearers were Kenneth Rafuse, David L. Phillips II, Dean L. Phillips, Dennis Phillips, Ashlee Miller and Russell Soper. Spring interment will be at Demeritt Cemetery. A reception followed the service at the church. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
