FARMINGTON – Copper is a dashing young beagle mix who likes to dress up and show off. He went to the Franklin County Animal Shelter as a stray and has been there for more than a month.

Copper is one of the easiest-going dogs in the building; he loves just about everything. He is a great co-pilot, and he does know the “R-I-D-E” word. He loves cats and is good with other dogs.

His one downfall is that he does have that hound nose and probably should not be let off leash. He would make a great house pet as he appears to be house broken and loves to play with his stuffed animal. Anyone looking for a young canine companion should check out Copper.

New dogs at the shelter include a white shepherd female from Industry and a German shepherd female from Weld,
