SOUTH PARIS – Ruth S. Knightly Hall, 92, of South Paris, died at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
She was born in Harrison on April 8, 1913, the daughter of George D. and Ethel I. Kendall Skillings. She graduated from Bridgton Academy and had been employed at Pratt and Whitney in Connecticut, retiring in 1964.
She was a member of the Norway Grange 45, Pamona State and National, Order of the Eastern Star 105 in Bolsters Mills and the Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Fay Turner and her husband, Donald, of Harrison and Joanne McKowen, of Acton; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Verne Knightly; her second husband, Charles Hall; a son, Robert; two brothers; and five sisters.
