Worship leader

PARIS – Peter Crumlish will be the worship leader at the 10 a.m. service of the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, on Sunday, Jan. 15.

Crumlish is the religion and ethics teacher and a college counselor at Hebron Academy. The music will be under the direction of Forest Perkins, church organist. Renee Wales will lead the Sunday school.

Child care is provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall.

Classes set

BETHEL – QiGong classes wll be held at the Bethel Area Health Center from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. from Jan. 24 through Feb. 7.

Advocate visit

PARIS – The veterans’ advocate will not be at the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris on Wednesday, Jan. 18. His next visit will be 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Sunday speaker

PARIS – Rodney Abbott, local retired high school teacher and part-time lecturer at the University of Maine at Augusta, will be the guest speaker at the West Paris Universalist Unitarian Church on Sunday, Jan. 15. His topic will be “The Big Question.”

Jim Burke, organist, will provide music for the service, which will begin at 9 a.m. A coffee hour and fellowship will follow. Everyone is welcome.
