It totally amazes me that so many people who are taking legal prescription drugs are complaining about the prices. And it amazes me even more that they want the government to pay for it.

Do they ever stop to think that maybe they don’t need to be on all those prescriptions?

Doctors are all too quick to put people on drugs, and we are all too quick to accept that.

We all know people, usually older people, who have a counter full of drugs, and they wonder why they don’t feel good. Everything that is on the market has side effects, yet people just rush to their doctors to get whatever drug they saw advertised on TV.

For example, cholesterol. Instead of taking drugs to lower it, do people ever think of altering their diet?

If society doesn’t stop and think about it, it’s only going to get worse.
