LISBON – No injuries were reported and combined damage was estimated at $4,000 in a car-pole crash on Route 9 Monday morning.

Patrolman Richard St. Amant said Kathleen Brown, 31, of Durham was driving north on Route 9 when she lost control on a curve, skidded off to the right and into a utility pole, snapping it. Neither she nor her 10-year old son was injured.

Damage was estimated at $3,000 to her 1986 GMC van and at $1,000 to the utility pole in the 10:47 a.m. crash.
