FARMINGTON – Jesse Clement is from Lewiston. James Roberts is from Durham. Police said the pair combined their names, called themselves the Jesse James gang, and began distributing crack cocaine to the Farmington area.
Clement and Roberts, both 22, were indicted by the Franklin County grand jury on charges of possessing and trafficking cocaine.
Investigators said the two men went to Farmington at least once a week to drop off customers there. They were arrested Dec. 1 after an investigation by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and local and county police.
