LEWISTON – Thomas G. Wood, 57, passed away Jan. 16, at a Lewiston health care facility.
He was born Aug. 9, 1948, the son of Raymond and Geraldine (Dyer) Wood. He served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver and cab driver.
He enjoyed playing his computer games and was a true friend to all who knew him. He was a great story teller of his trips around the United States.
He is survived by a daughter, Tonya Varela, of Oklahoma; his brother, Raymond Wood and his wife, Janet, of Sabattus; sisters, Evelyn and her husband, Ken Bubier, of Greene and Linda and her husband, Don Potter, of Morrill; a special friend, Barbara Wood, of Sabattus; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Kevin Wood.
