CHESTERVILLE – Jayne Hall Norman, 49, of Sand Pond Road, changed her place of residency to Heaven on Tuesday evening, Jan. 17, with her loved ones by her side. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer for the past three years.

Born May 27, 1956, in Farmington, she was a daughter of the late David and Beverly Hall of Wilton. She grew up in Wilton and graduated from Mt. Blue High School in 1974.

On May 20, 1995, she married David Norman and together they made their home on Sand Pond where they built a place of serenity that was always open to family and friends.

She was a sales manager at Solon Manufacturing for three years and previously was employed by Forster Manufacturing for 15 years. Throughout her business career, she traveled extensively and made many friends throughout the country.

While Jayne’s hobbies included reading, spending time with all the special children in her life, scrapbooking, enjoying her hot tub and being outdoors, most importantly to her was time spent with her entire family, her loving relatives and her many close friends. She will always be loved. Her beautiful and loving spirit will live on forever.

She is survived by her husband, David; a son, Joshua Hall; stepsons, Danny and David Norman; grandsons, Matthew, Dustin and Brandon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann and Kendall Burdin, of Wilton, Kathy and Mike Wells, of North Jay and Judy and Bob Burdick, of Wilton; nieces, Jana and Jessica Burdin and Kaitlyn and Megan Burdick; and nephews, Kyle and Corey Wells.

She was predeceased by her father and mother, David and Beverly Hall; and an infant brother, Mark.
