SOUTH PARIS – Donald C. Mann, 89, of South Paris, died Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Maine Veterans Home.

He was born in Casco on March 6, 1916, the son of Fauntine and Sara Tripp Mann. He was educated in Casco schools and graduated from Casco High School.

He married Hester McKeen in September 1938. He was employed by W.H. Brown Co. for 19 years, C.N. Brown for eight years and Paris Manufacturing, until his retirement in 1969. He faithfully served in the Pacific Fleet during World War II.

He was past president of Kezar Lake Grange and past president of the Norway Paris Lyons Club. He was a member of Paris Lodge 94, A.F. & A.M. and the Knights of Pythias of East Stoneham.

He is survived by a son, Mike, of Norway; two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by his wife in September 2000.
