FARMINGTON – FastTrac Planning, an 11-session business planning course, begins Tuesday, Feb. 7. This course is geared toward entrepreneurs.

Certified instructor and small business development counselor Greg Gould will be facilitating the course, offering hands-on experience in an atmosphere that focuses on collaborative learning and networking.

Housed at the Kauffman Foundation, FastTrac will feature a special opportunity for business owners to work with students from the University of Maine at Farmington’s Business Economics Department.

Administered by Heart of Maine Resource Conservation and Development Inc., FastTrac combines interactive instruction with one-on-one coaching, peer learning, local guest speakers and a comprehensive textbook and workbook.

Classes will be held at the University of Maine at Farmington, Ricker Addition. The cost of the course is $599. Scholarships are available based on need, reducing the cost to $299. The fee covers tuition, textbooks, workbooks and evening refreshments. A second person from the same business can attend at no additional cost.
