Popular stand-up comic Bob Marley will be appearing in two western Maine venues in early February.

Saturday, Feb. 4, Marley will do three shows at the Sugarloaf Inn in Carrabassett Valley. Shows are at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Tickets are $15. Call 1-207-237-2000 or 1-800-THELOAF.

A Maine native and University of Maine at Farmington graduate, Marley performs throughout the country. His western Maine shows, for example, are sandwiched between appearances in Colorado and California.

In March, he will travel to China, where he will perform in Shanghai and Beijing. He recently completed taping 10 episodes of the TBS program “The Laugh Factory.”

Marley has recorded three “Greatest Hits” DVDs and 10 CDs, with “Upta Camp” as his latest.
