LEWISTON – Linn A. Bowker, 51, of Auburn died on Friday, Jan. 27, at d’Youville Pavilion.
He was born on March 9, 1954, in Farmington, the son of William Bowker Sr. and Minnie (Dyer) Bowker.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially loved to play cribbage at the Twelve Hour Club, which was one of the highlights of his life in recent years. When his son was a boy, he was an assistant Boy Scout leader. He was known by those close to him as a soft-spoken and gentle man, like his Dad.
He is survived by his son, Jamie Bowker and his wife, Teresa; his daughter, Jennifer Clarke; mother, Minnie Bowker; sisters, Christine Howard-Fortin, and Marie Cogley; brothers, William Bowker Jr., and James Bowker and his wife, Vicki; grandchildren, Jordan, Amber, Chase, Robby, Kady; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Linn had been married to the former Debra Boisvert.
He was predeceased by his father.
