LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Jan. 23 with 32 members present. The group was served the monthly meal from SeniorsPlus.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting. Mary Groleau led the group as they sang “How Great Thou Art.” Cards of thanks were received from Cecile Hathaway and Dora Slovak.

Jeannette Buck was added to the sick list that consists of several members, including Joan Lauzier, Dick Bryant, Cecile Hathaway, Shirley Toncer and Emile Richards.

Couture said she had received a call from Don Spear, a humorist who will entertain the group in March. She also noted that Brenda from Parkview had called and said that they would have another meal for seniors some time in February.

The group will its Chinese Auction on Monday, Feb. 6, when members will bring food items.

The 50-50 was won by Joe Slovak. The meeting was adjourned and cards and games were played.
