Rotary speaker

LEWISTON – Members of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will meet at noon Thursday, Feb. 2, to hear Bruce Hertz discuss Home Care for Maine at the Ramada Inn. Anyone wishing to attend to hear the speaker or to learn more about Rotary is welcome. Weekly buffet luncheons are $8 a person.

Chapter meeting

LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Americaine, will gather at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, in the Multi-Purpose Center Senior Citizens Room.

Bridge play

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Jan. 30 were: first, Pete Cummings and Dick Allen; second, Cynthia and Bill Clifford; third, Rosemarie Goodwin and Paul Beegel; fourth, Allie Boyer and Barbara Beegel.

Games are played at 9 a.m. every Monday, a mini-lesson is given, and a partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie at 783-1734 for more information.

Bridge winners

NEW GLOUCESTER – The New Gloucester Bridge Club met Jan. 29 at the Masonic Hall, intersection of Routes 100 and 231, when a four-table Howell movement was played.

Finishing first in Flight A and B were Nancy Farmer and Dick Allen; second, Anil and Rekha Goswami; third, Sherrie Baker and Les Buzzell. Finishing second in Flight B were Marta Clements and Janice Wolfe; third, Betty and Doug Sise.

Another game will be held Sunday, Feb. 4. All bridge players are welcome. A partner is guaranteed.
