HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) – Quinnipiac University has announced plans for a $100 million expansion that will include a $60 million health sciences center and $15 million liberal arts building.
The plan, released Tuesday ,also includes $5 million in renovations to the schools of business and communications and the addition of 25 full-time faculty members.
The proposal is expected to be formally approved by the Faculty Senate and the board of trustees by May.
The five-year plan would be financed through a combination of fundraising, operational funds and bonding. The university also has a $162 million endowment.
