AUBURN – “Cinderella Wore Combat Boots,” a one-act comedy by Jerry Chase, will be presented this weekend during Auburn’s Winter Festival.

Two shows, at noon and again at 1:30 p.m., will be performed Sunday, Feb. 5, in Kirk Hall Auditorium at Central Maine Community College.

The show is appropriate for all ages, according to the drama group. It will be presented by the college’s Lakeside Players and is being directed by Mitch Thomas.

The role of the storyteller will be played by Nathan Wing of Auburn. Phil Vampatella of New Gloucester will play the king. Ayo Songobunmi will play both the prince and the stepmother. Tammy Carpenter of Litchfield and Brandy Bowen of Lewiston will play the stepsisters. Cinderella is Lisa J. Patton of Fayette. Rick Sabine is the technical director.

Performances are free to the public.
