ATLANTA (AP) – In a story published Saturday about the civil rights gains since the death of Martin Luther King Jr., The Associated Press reported erroneously that the Georgia state flag bears a small Confederate battle emblem. The flag approved by voters in 2004 no longer bears the emblem.
