Rumford – Jeanine “Ginger” Mahala Webber, 63, passed away due to heart failure on Sunday, Feb. 5, with her loving husband of 35 years by her side.

She was born in Rumford on Nov. 17, 1942, a daughter of Albert E. and Mahala Reta (Boyle) Thibodeau, where she lived her life and raised her family.

She was a graduate of Stephens High School Class of 1961. She married Edgley D. Webber of Sumner, on Nov. 14, 1970 in West Sumner.

“Ginger” had a great passion for caring for others, as well as providing for her family. She loved collecting angels, and now she is among them.

She will be fondly remembered by those who received visits from her, when she dressed up as Santa and the Easter Bunny. She was a woman full of selfless acts of kindness; she donated to charities on a regular basis, always reaching out to those in need.

She is survived and cherished by her husband, Edgley Webber; two daughters, Jessica Corriveau of Rumford, and Amanda White and husband, Russell, of Mexico; a son, John E. Webber and wife, Michelle, of Gardiner; three beautiful grandchildren, (her pride and joy) Buddy, Cheyenne and Jasmine all of Mexico; two brothers, Jim Thibodeau and wife, Jutta, Jerrold Thibodeau and wife, Nancy; two sisters, Jackie Fallon and husband, Tom, Julie Patrick and husband, Wally; a special niece, Mahala Patrick; and many other nieces and nephews.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved dog, “Precious”; and her extended family in all of its forms. Her love to us truly was a great gift.

She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Isabelle Thibodeau; and a brother, John Thibodeau.
