FARMINGTON – Diane Perry of Mexico has been named manager of the Rumford and Mexico branches of Franklin Savings Bank.

Perry replaces Donald Cummings, who retired after 33 years at Franklin Savings Bank.

Perry joined Franklin Savings Bank last summer, returning to the bank where she got her start under Cummings more than 24 years ago. Since her first stint at Franklin Savings, Perry has cultivated extensive real estate and consumer lending experience as well as management, customer service and business development skills.

Before returning to Franklin Savings, Perry served as the branch manager for the Rumford office of Bangor Savings Bank.

Perry volunteers for the American Cancer Society in its Relay for Life event, and works with Big Brothers Big Sisters “Bowl for Kids Sake” and the United Way Day of Caring. Shei has been a board member with the Rumford Rotary Club and chaired the Rotary Scholarship Committee, Rotary Youth Leadership Program, and the Community Services Program.

She is a past chairwoman of the River Valley Interact Club. She has also served on the River Valley Growth Council Board and the River Valley Chamber of Commerce Board.

Perry earned an associate’s degree in business management and office management at Husson College in Bangor. She is a graduate of Mexico High School and a member of the Chisholm Ski Club.

Perry lives in Mexico with her husband, Michael, and their two daughters, Leah and Julia Perry.
